AJ thankfully had his first day without a fever, let us see what happens at night. He seems happier and positive. He is weak and will need to take things slowly, but as of now he hopes to get cleared to go out Friday and inshallah back to work by next Monday. We will take one day at a time and see what happens.
So I was thinking of today’s topic and I realized tomorrow is Day 14 and my last day to blog about our Corona journey. I thought to myself Now what?
We really have no end date as of now for this crisis, even though I pray and hope it ends soon. Being quarantined indoor and having AJ sick has been a roller coaster but it is ending and we all have to adapt to a new normal in so many ways.
It can be frightening to not know what is out there once we hopefully have some normalcy. A lot of us maybe having a hard time even grappling with whats going on, let alone how it may affect our future. Here is a great article that Saniya sent me.https://www.google.com/amp/s/hbr.org/amp/2020/03/that-discomfort-youre-feeling-is-grief
On a positive note, I received some delicious home made food from my sister in Michigan. I don’t think I will be cooking for a few days apart from adding a side salad to the food. I am so so grateful for everyone’s concern, love and prayers.
It was a grey day in New York, so I did an indoor workout on my phone, which was amazing. Every bit of movement counts not only for our physical health but for our mental and emotional health. Please keep moving even at home.
Love and Gratitude!
If anyone has a topic they would like to write on this blog, please send it me and you can be the guest writer of the day. That would make me 😀
